          This week we did an inventory of equipment, and I am one of the representatives of our department (DON/NSO –Nursing Service Office) and my partner was from CEMD Department. I am happy at the same time nervous because it was my first time to participate in auditing equipment in different units under MCN Cluster. MCN cluster compose of 6 units, namely: Maternity, Nursery, Medical DR, Pediatric and PICU. First we went to Neonatal or Nursery unit. For the first time I saw babies inside an incubator, some were crying and some of them were sleeping. Babies are small like one liter a soft drink bottle. Next unit is the Medical unit, during the rounds one of the patient in DR was very strict. They don’t want to be disturbed. So the nurse-in-charge volunteered to get inside the room and check the equipment that was inside the room. The Serial numbers of each equipment must also be taken into account. It is indeed a tiring week but I am satisfied because of the new things I learned after the inventory.
